Robert Mehta, owner, appeazed. Gerry Strathman stated the purpose of this hearing is to heaz objections to the issuance of licenses to Robert Mehta, DBA Lou's Market, 1199 White Beaz Avenue. One letter was received in objection to these licenses. Whenever an objection is received, a hearing has to be held. A notice of this heazing was mailed to this complainant; however, that notice was returned undeliverable. An effort was made by LIEP to make personal delivery, but there was no such name on the maiibox at the address indicated. To create a record, Mr. Strathman stated the letter was received from Adam Rodelius, 1161 White Bear Avenue. He wrote he owns property at that address, and is opposed to the store receiving a liquor license. He is concerned about people under the influence of alcohol walking past his property causing damage or littering, there is a school across the street, and there are plenty of stores in Saint Paul that sell liquor. Gerry Strathman recommended these licenses be approved. The complainant is not here, and the contents of his written letter do not constitute sufficient cause to deny these licenses.
