to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
l . David Hancock the sum of $1 , 100 .00 in full settlement of his
claim of damages sustained on or about August 12 , 1986 , as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the
City Clerk ' s office on August 19 , 1986 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIM AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY DAVID HANCOCK
On August 12 , 1986 , a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public
Works vehicle driven by Karl Braun struck a parked vehicle as he
tried to turn into the alley. Mr . Braun misjudged the amount of
clearance to complete this turn and damaged the vehicle owned by
claimant , David Hancock, in the amount of $1 , 429 .00 . Our office
reached a compromise settlement with Mr. Hancock for $1 , 100 .00 .
