WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota
has prepared: plans, speciai provisions, and specifications for the
improvement of Snelling Avenue, Trunk Highway No. 125, renumbered as
Trunk Highway No. 51, within the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul,
from Como Avenue to No. Corp. limits; and seeks the approval thereof;
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, That said plans and special provisions for the
improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the
City, be and hereby are approved including the elevations and grades as
shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade
occasioned by said construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City does hereby agree to require the
parfcing of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate
limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb
adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all
public streets intersecting said Trunk Highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk certify a copy of this
resolution to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, District 9.

The Public Works Committee at its meeting of January 7, 1987 took the

Blvd. with an ornarnental street lighting system, grading
and pavinq, constructinq concrete curb and gutters, catch
basins, concrete driveway aprons, reconstructing sanitary
sewer. constructing sanitary, storm and water connections,
if requested by property owners and an area storm sewer
system bounded by Eustis Street on the west; on the north
by 135 feet MOL southwest of Desnoyer Ave; Pelham Blvd.
and 530 feet MOL south of Beverly Ave; on the east 622
feet MOL east of Pelham B)vd. , on the south 755 feet MOL
north of Marshall Ave, Round Lane, along Mississippi River
Blvd. 135 feet MOL) .

2. 1-13-87 FINAL ORDER: DALE/HOYT 5TREET paving �nd lighting
pro,ject, area storm sewer pro,ject (bounded by Larpenteur
on the north, Arlington between Grotto and 5t. Albans,

STORM SEWER (bounded on the north by a line beginning at
the intersection of Princeton Ave, Amherst Street and
Cambridge Street proceedinq easterly to a point
approximately 400 feet east of the center of Macalester
Street then headinq north to center of Goodrich Avenue
extended and thence following Goodrich and Goodrich
extended to Saratoga Street; on the east by Saratoga
Street MOL and on the west by a line running along
Snellinq Ave. from southern boundary of area north to a
point on 5nelling Ave. between Berkeley Ave. and 5t. Clair
AvenuP and continuing westwardly MOL to a point
approximately 250 feet west of the center line of Amherst
Street where it intersects with 5t. Clair Ave. thence
proceeding northeasterly MOL to point of beqinninq) . Also
improving both sides of Brimhall Street from Jefferson
Avenue south to Palace Avenue and both sides of Palace
Avenue from Snelling Avenue east to Brimhall Street by
constructing concrete curb and clutters, bituminous paving,

liqhting system all to be known as the Randolph/Snelling
