Referred To ��+� , Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date WHEREAS, the Human Services Initiative has helped the City to focus on human service issues facing Saint Paul and its residents; and WHEREAS, the Human Services Initiative has enabled the City to create and participate on task forces and in coalitions to work on human service issues; and WHEREAS, Saint Paul organizations and neighborhoods have benefited from the work and assistance of the Human Services staff; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue the work of the Human Services staff beyond the grant period provided by the Northwest Area Foundation funding; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul does hereby publicly accept and thank the McKnight Foundation for providing a $36, 600 grant for the continued funding of the Human Services Initiative staff. I am pleased to inform you that the Directors approved a grant in the amount of �36,600 to provide salary and aupport costs for one ataff inember for one year.
