Whereas, Marshall Anderson has served the citizens of St. Paul
by working to provide housing opportunities for our
disadvantaged; and
Whereas, in his various roles he has focused on the need for
quality housing and the direct. invaivement of tenants in building
management and problem resolution; and
Whereas, he has further stressed the need for providing ot.t•�er
services to the disadvantaged through the Public Housing Urban
Initiative Program, the Congregate Housing 5ervices Program, and
through the use of full -time l�nguage interpreters to communicate
with residents; and
Whereas, Marsha� l Anderson is now retiring from service as
Executive Director of the St. Paul Public Housing Agency to
pursue long awaited personal interests; now, th-ierefore, be it
Resolved, that the Mayor and Council of the City of St. Paul
express their deepest appreci�tion and commend Marshatl Andersan
for his many years af excellent service to this city and his
commitment to provide quality housing for its disadvantaged.
