BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Saint
Paul (Police Department) a License Agreement with Saint Paul
Burlington Limited Partnership for office space located in the
First Trsut Center , for the purpose of a loop-skyway beat office.
This �cense Agreement is for use on a month-to-month basis
commencing July 11 , 1988 , with a rental fee of $1.00 .

LICENSE AGREEMENT
In consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived
therefrom, this Agreement is entered into between St. Paul
Burlington Limited Partnership ( "Owner" ) and the City of
Saint Paul on behalf of the St. Paul Police Department
( "User") .
I.
LICENSE, PREMISES, AND TERM
Owner hereby agrees to allocate to the User approximately
five hundred ( 500) squaze feet of office space, known as
Suite �215 (the "Premises") , on the skyway level of First
Trust Center for use on a month to month basis commencing
July 11, 1988.
II. -
FEE
User shall pay Owner One Dollar ($1.00) for the privilege of
this license and Owner acknowledges receipt of this payment
in the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) .
III.
UTILITIES
Owner will provide building standard heating, air .
conditioning, and lighting to the Premises during the normal
business hours of the First Trust Center all at no cost to
the User.
IV.
FURNISHINGS, MAINTENANCE, AND INDEMNITY
The User agrees:
1) That it will provide and install its own office
furniture and telephones, and will pay installation
costs.
2) That it will not to make any alterations or addi-
tions in or to the Premises without the written
consent of Owner.
3) That it will not permit or cause any injury or
other damage or defacing of the Premises other than
normal wear and tear .

4) That it will exercise its privileges under this
Agreement at its own risk, and will indemnify and
hold Owner , its managing agent, and their
respective partners, employees and agents harmless
from any loss, damage, claim of damage, or
' liability arising from any accident or any
occurrence causing injury or death to any person or
damage to any property resulting from, arising out
ofj or in any way connected with the use of the
Premises by the User. Owner shall not be liable to
the User if for any reason the User 's use of the
Premises is hindered or disturbed.
5) That it will maintain the Premises to Owner ' s
standards of housekeeping.
V.II.
USE
The User will utilize the Premises solely for offices of the
St. Paul Police Department for the Loop-Skyway Beat. Police
personnel will be the only occupants of the Premises.
Citizens and/or prisoners will not be brought to the
Premises. The User will limit its activities within First
Trust Center under this Agreement to the skyway and the
Premises.
VIII .
NOTICE
Either party may cancel this Agreement with a 30-day written
notice. Notices under this Aqreement shall be in writing
and made to the following addresses:
