WHEREAS, the St. Paul City Council has amended Chapter 404, 409
and " 410 to allow the sale of pulltabs and tipboards in private
clubs, licensed liquor establishments and non-alcoholic (3. 2
beer) beverage establishments; and
WHEREAS, 10� of the net revenue from the sale of pulltabs and
tipboards are used to support the Youth Athletic and Sports Fund;
and
WHEREAS, the St. Paul City Council has adopted rules for the
distribution of said funds to eligible organizations; now,
therefore, be it
� RESOLVED, that the adopted rules are amended as follows :
PURPOSE
The Saint Paul City Council in a Resolution dated
July 1, 1987 has established a fund to provide money
for grants to nonprofit athletic and sports groups or
organizations desiring to provide better �et�t� atl��et�es
a�e� 9}98i°t9 programs serving youth in Saint Paul
neighborhoods. This fund is not, however, intended to
provide on-going support for a� eligible organization.

6. At the November 1, 1988 City Council Meeting, a request was made for a
discussion and review of criteria used in determining properties designated
as a nuisance. Any interested Council Members should attend if they have any
questions on criteria being used by the staff.
