WHEREAS, The Mayor's Office is currently in the process of selecting a new Fire Chief, and
WHEREAS, Due to the existing Chief's announcement of his retirement in mid-year, no money
was budgeted in 1988 for the selection process, and
WHEREAS, The Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter recommends the following
transfers for the 1988 General Fund budget:
