WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Saint Pa has recently
considered a number of amendments to the City' s ode of Ethics,
Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 24; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that openness in govern-
ment is promoted by City enforcement personn disclosing economic
interests; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council hereb requests the Mayor to
direct the City' s labor negotiator, s part of the collective
bargaining process , to negotiate a requirement that all City
employees exercising enforcement or regulatory powers or duties
file a statement of economic intere pursuant to the requirements
of Saint Paul Administrative Code ection 24.03(B) .
