RE: Parking Lot Licence Applications for lots at
southeast corner of 9th and Sibley (Lic #10979) ,
northwest corner of 9th and Sibley (Lic #65169) ,
and the northeast corner of lOth and Sibley �
(Lic #65474) .
To help prevent seeurity problems on any of the lots
that APCOA operates, we have employees checking our
lots throughout the day. Aiso on our lot at lOth
and Sibley, the lot is lighted all night. In
addition to the above measures we are adding a person
that will check the lots in the late afternoon and
evening.
APCOA also operates parking ramps in downtown St. Paul
and in those applications we use a professional
security company to patrol our ramps.

Dear Mr. Carlson: �
We hereby approve the above referenced proposal per the attached site plans
and subject to the following conditions: ,
1. All lots shall be paved with asphalt. The vehicle spaces must be i'
delineated with painted lines on the paved surface and shall be '
dimensioned to 9' x 18' for full-size vehiclss, 8' x 16' for compact and ,
12' x 18' for handicapped vehicles. At least one handicappad vehicle i�
space must be provided for ever 50 pa=king spaces ia tha lot. The '�`
handicap and compact parking spaces must be designated with appropriate !�
signage. �

2. Stormwater management facilities shall be constructed and operatiotial as �
per the plans approved by the Public Works Sewer Division. ;

Abandonment of catch basins, manholes and sewar lines and the storm
connection ta the city sewer system requires a permit from Public t7orks
Sewe= Division.
Contact Dave Ccnlsy at 292-6005 for further information on obtaining the
permit.
3. If you intend to keap the driveway open onto Sibley Street, for the lot at
the northwest corner of 9th and Sibley, the thzee spaces within the drive
lane area must be eliminated. If you intend to kesp these parking spaces
this driveway must be removed and replacsd with curb and sidewalk to city
specification.
The driveway on Sibley for the lot at the southeast corner of 9th and
Sbiley must be narrowed to conform to the parking laqout (see drawing) .
The reconstruction of the drive requires a permit from the Public Works
Traffi Section. Contact Thomas Keefe at 292-6283 for information on
obtaining this permit.
