' .r � yy�/��� Q Q / Membership of Committee - continued 1 Member Representing the Ramsey County Attorney's Office 3 Representatives from Independent School District 625 2 Members representing the State Legislature (one from the Senate and House, respectively) 2 �- Saint Paul City Council Representative 2 Members Representing Chemical Dependency/ Human Service Facilities 2 Representatives from the Saint Paul Police Department 1 Representative from the Ramsey County Sherrif's Office 1 Representative from the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce 7 3- Members representing Youth AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the duties and responsibilities of the Anti-Drug Task Force will be to review all relevant facts and to determine methods of reducing both the supply and demand for illegal drugs in the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County and to so advise the City and will have at least the following subcommittees: 1. a law enforcement subcommittee charged to make recommendations to local law enforcement officials. 2 . an education subcommittee which concerns itself with anti-drug education in schools and the evaluation of existing deterrence and treatment programs to determine if they have sufficient resources to be effective. 3 . a leaislative and criminal justice subcommittee charged with making legislative recommendations which will help to eliminate the illegal sale and usage of drugs. 4. A housing[building subcommitzee which examines the probiems of landlords and building personnel who come into contact with drug dealers. Terms for ail members shall be two years. A work plan for all subcommittees will be due within 60 days of appointment. Appointments will be through the open appointments process.
