An Administrative Resolution authorizing
the Mayor' s Management Compensation Committee
to make recommendations on Managers ' Pay and
Benefits .
RESOLVED, that the Mayor' s Management Compensation Committee
be established through appointment by the Mayor of three Cabinet
members and four members from private industry; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that of the three Cabinet members who
shall be members of this Committee, one shall be appointed
to a one year term, one shall be appointed to a two year term,
and one shall be appointed to a three year term, and thereafter
each vacancy for such appointment shall be for a three year
term; and that of the four members from private industry, two
shall be appointed to a one year term, one shall be appointed
to a two year term, and one shall be appointed to a three year
term, and thereafter each vacancy for such appointment shall
be for a three year term; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Committee shall have the authori-
ty to establish policies and procedures for its operations ;
and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Committee discuss all traditional
compensation methods and propose, on an annual basis , a package
of economic and health and welfare benefits to be offered to
nonrepresented City managers ; and, be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that upon acceptance of the Committee ' s
recommendation by the Mayor, the proposal will be presented
to the City Council for its consideration and approval .
