TNIRD MODIFICATION AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 30th day of June,
1988, by and between the PORT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SAINT
PAUL, a public corporation organized and existing under the pra-
visions of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 469, hereinafter referred
to as "Landlord" , and the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a municipal corpora-
tion of the State of Minnesota� hereinafter referred to as
"Tenant" ;
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS , Landlord and Tenant entered into a certain Lease
Agreement, dated September 25, 1970� as modified by Agreement
dated January 19, 1971 , and as further modified by Modification
Agreement dated June 17 , • 1975, whereby Tenant occupied a certain
tract of land owned by Landlord in the Southport Industrial.
District for purposes of storage of motor vehicles and other
purposes related or incidental thereto; and
WHEREAS, the term of said Lease extends through December
31 , 1995; and
WHEREAS, Tenant desires Landlord to undertake certain
additional improvements which have resulted in a need on the
part of Landlord to increase the rental payment; and

WHEREAS, said increase shall be the sum of $1 ,3I1.90 monthly,
commencing on the first day of Mdy � 1988, and on the first day
of each month thereafter for the remaining term of the Lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATIOIV OF THE ABOVE PREMISES,
the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. That the Authority at the request of Tenant has under-
taken certain improvements to the property, which improvements
have been accepted by Tenant.
2. That the Lease Agreement dated September 25. 1970, as
modified by Agreement dated January 19, 1971, and as further
modified by Modification Agreement dated June 17, 1975, is further
modified to add a new rent item under Article 2, Rentals, being �
Item No. 3, to read as follows:
"Rent Item No. 3: Commencing May l, 1988, and on the
first day of each month thereafter during the remaining
term of this Lease, Tenant shall pay to Landlord -_ :
- - rent in the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred
Eleven and 90/100 Dollars ($1,311.90) . "
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their
hands as of the day and year first above written.
