The Saint Paul Police Deparfinent received $15,000 in 1999 from the 5tate of Minnesota, Bureau of Crnninal Apprehension
to conduct confidential homicide investigations. Minnesota Statue 299C.065 Undercover Buy Fund, allows this money
to be used in connection with Yhe protection of a witness or victun, or to be used to provide other services necessary to
assist the person in becoming self-sustaining or to provide for partial reimbursement of local costs associated with
intenselongterm criminalinvesrigarions.

T'he 5aint Paul Police Deparhnent will utilize $15,000 to assist with the costs of an intensive long term homicide investigation
to successfully solve the case.
