Visits are made to thei City k�y va.�iaus dignataries regresenting institutions from
all over the world, representing governments, businesses and busin�ss purposes and
various .national and internation�l causes. The .Ma.yor, as cere�onia:l. head of the
City greets them. The Mayor would like to present visitbrs with small gifts from
the City on behalf of• the City and its citizens. CF 88-728 authori�es the
Mayor to provide gifts to visitors, each individual gift not to exceed an amount
of $200, and such gifts �to be given at the discretion of the Mayor. This resol-

Gifts c�eate stronger`"ties between the City and visitors, assist greatly in

and a $3,000 transfer from the HRA General (TAx Levy) Fund.

by allowing the Board to make recommendations regarding the City's code of
ethics, by allowing citizens to file complaints with the Board for alleged

which this chapter should be interpreted and applied by the Board.
