2 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul gratefully aeknowledges receipt of three
3 decorative pieces, the first of which is a framed print entitled "WOOding IIp," the
4 second of which is a framed plat drawing, circa 1851, of the City of Saint Paul, and
5 the third of which is a river pilot's compass case from a 19 century =iverboat,
6 from a donor who wiahes to remain anonymous; and
7
8 RESOLVED, that the City o£ Saint Faul agrees to indemnify the anonymous donor for
9 the estimated market value of each piece: $15,000 for "WOOding Up," $3,000 for the
10 plat drawing, and $750 for the compass case; and
11
12 RESOLVED, it is understood that the decorative pieces will be available foF public
13 viewing in the Office of the Mayor and will be returned to the donor at such time as
14 the present Mayor leaves City of£ice;
15
16 FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution rescinds CF #96-74.
