WHEREAS, the City Treasu er desires to consolidate bank accounts to
improve cash management proce ures and obtain banking services at the least
total cost to the City, and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statu es 118.005 requires the governing body of
every municipality to designa e depositories of City funds or may authorize
the treasurer or chief financ'al officer to exercise these powers on its
behalf, and
WHEREAS, the City Treasu er recommends the designation of Norwest
Bank Minnesota, National Asso iation as the Depository for the City of
Saint Paul's General Account nd Payroll Accounts, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that Norwest
Bank Minnesota, National Asso iation is so designated and the agreement
relating to banking services or a period of two years is hereby approved
for execution on behalf of t City, subject to complianCe by Nor'west
Bank Minnesota, National Ass ciation with the requirements of Articl� III,
Section 10 of the Rules Gove ing Affirmative Requirements In Employment
adopted by the Saint Paul De rtment of Human Rights pursuant to
Section 183.04 of the Saint ul Legislative Code.
