WHEREAS , the City Council under Council File No. 87-737
approved May 21 , 1987 , establi hed a process whereby the City
would use the civic organizati n partnership program as a way
of prioritizing and accounting or contracts for services from
nonprofit organizations for the 1 88 budget; and
WHEREAS , it is the intent of the City Council to continue
the use of the "civic organi ation partnership program" as
a manner of prioritizing and ac ounting for such contracts for
the budget year of 1989 ; now, the efore , be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul ,
upon the recommendation of the Mayor with the advice of the
Budget Director approves the us of the policies and procedures
set forth in City Council Reso ution No. 87-737 for the budget
year of 1988 ; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that th policy set forth in Council
File No. 87-737 shall apply o ly to the budget year for 1989
and that the Council shall r view this issue and determine
whether or not this process hould continue into any future
budget years after 1989.
