WHEREAS , on March 22, 1988 the Division of Public Health
for the City of Saint Paul inspected the property at 954 Wood-
bridge, Saint Paul , Minnes ta, and determined that a nuisance
existed on said property; an
WHEREAS , the Division of Public Health sent a written
order dated and mailed Marc 23 , 1988 to Bessie Jacobsen, Michael
Roen and Mary Shear, owners of 954 Woodbridge, advising them
of the exact nature of t nuisance which is a deteriorated
garage and directing them to abate the nuisance within a specific
time period; and
WHERERS , Mary Shear fi ed an appeal from said order being
received in the office of the City Clerk on April 11 , 1988 ,
which was five days after th deadline for an appeal ; and
WHEREAS , the City Coun il on May 3 , 1988 conducted a public
hearing on said request nd dismissed it as being untimely
and determined that the abat ment should proceed; now, therefore ,
be it
RESOLVED, that the Ord r of the Division of Public Health
directing that the propert at 954 Woodbridge be cleaned up
as provided is hereby affirm d; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that 'n the event the work is not completed
upon publication of this r solution, the City may proceed to
perform or complete the ne essary work with the costs incurred
therefrom collected in the s me manner as provided by law.
