WHEREAS , on April 5 , 1988 the Division of Public Health for
the City of Saint Paul inspe ted the property at 1120 E . Sixth
Street, Saint Paul , Nlinnesot , and determined that a nuisance
existed on said property; and
WHEREAS , said Division sent written orders on April 6 ,
1988 to Mr. Don Folske , 96 Gershwin Avenue North, Oakdale,
Minnesota 55119 , the iee ow er of the property, informing him
of the exact nature of th nuisance consisting of garbage,
trash, tires , discarded furn' ture , scrap metal and scrap wood,
and directing abatement thereo ; and
WHEREAS , Mr. Don Folske on April 8 , 1988 filed on appeal
of said orders with the City C erk; and
WHEREAS , the City Counci on May 3 , 1988 conducted a public
hearing on the appeal and after due consideration affirmed
the Division' s cleanup order ; ow, therefore , be it
RESOLVED, that the Order of the Division of Public Health
directing that the property t 1120 E. Sixth Street be cleaned
up as provided in said order is hereby affirmed except that
the owner is given three day from the effective date of this
resolution to complete the nec ssary cleanup ; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that in the event the work is not completed
within the time stated above , the City may proceed to perform
or complete the necessary wor with the costs incurred therefrom
collected as provided by law.
