An ordinance amendi Chapter 293 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code entitled "Noise
Regulations" by p oviding for a limited
exemption therefrom for three day festivals
and exhibitions s onsored by a community
nonprofit organization.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SA NT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
S ction 1 .
That Chapter 293 of th Saint Paul Legislative Code is
hereby amended in Section 29 . 09 , paragraph (d) by adding a new
subparagraph thereto reading s follows :
( 5 ) Any festival o exhibition of no more than
three 3 days in durat on and sponsored or conducted
by a neighborhood based onprofit organization from the
hours of 7 :00 A.M, and 1 :00 P.M. , providing that sound
from any stationary el ctronically powered equipment
used in conjunction wi h the festival or exhibition
does not exceed ninety 0 decibels as measured from a
distance of fifty 50 ) f et from the source.
S ction 2 .
That this ordinance shal take effect and be in force thirty
( 30 ) days after its passage , pproval and publication.
