WHEREAS , the City of 5aint Paul, acting through its
Valuation Engineer, has secur d an agreement for the purchase of
that certain property describ d as follows:
Lots 2 through 6, lock 14, Smith' s Subdivision of
Block 14 , Smith ' s Subdivision of Block 14 , Stinson ' s
Frances Street Add tion to St. Paul
WHEREAS , the property erein described is necessary for
public purposes in the ETNA/ ast Third Street area in connection
with the BELT LINE SEWER SYST M POND ACQUISITION PROJECT; and
WHEREAS, this property w s approved for acguisition on July
14 , 1987 , by Final Order , Cou cil File No. 87-1078 ; and
WHEREAS, the price at wh ch the property may be purchased is
in the amount of $13 ,800 .00 , t being a fair and reasonable price
for the subject property acc rding to the appraisal obtained by
the Valuation Engineer; and
WHEREAS , the Valuation E gineer has recommended the purchase
of said property at the price stated above:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESO VED, that the proper City officials
are hereby authorized and di ected to pay J. R. Walker & Sons,
Inc. , record owner , the sum f $13 ,8�l�J. �� . The conditions of
said sale contained in the M morandum for Sale of Real Estate;
said memorandum is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
