Voting In the Matter of the installation of the Wabasha Streetscape Improvement Plan on
Ward Wabasha Street from Kellogg oulevard to llth street and on 5th and
2 6th Streets from Wabasha Str et to St. Peter Street. Improvements
to include the following: N w decorative lighting to accommodate banners,
flower baskets and other spe ial trims; information kiosks containing
lists of stores and events, aps, telephones, newsboxes and trash
receptacles.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having rece ved the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report,hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby a roved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof
is$ 320,000 , financedby Neigh orhood Partnership Program $125,000;
Capital Improvement Bonds $7 ,000 and assessment to property owners
$120,000.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improveme t on the 14th day of June, 1988 ,at
nine �Xo'clock a.m., in the Council Chambers o the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to he persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the im rovement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
