WHEREAS , the City of Saint Paul , by resolution 213950 dated
July 20, 1963, and recorded s document 463�100, acquired an
easement for slopes , cuts , and fills over property described as
follows:
The west 75 feet of the w st 135. 15 feet of Lot 7 ,
Block 1; the west half of Lot 8 , Block l; Lots 2 ,
3 , 4, and 5, Block 2; all in Hudson Road Gardens
WHEREAS, in order to clear title, the City of Saint Paul has
been requested to release this easement; and
WHEREAS, the Department o Public Works has indicated it has
no further need for this eas ent and does not object to the
release of this easement.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed releasing any and
all interest the City may h ve in the easement recorded as
document 463�100 over the pro erty described as follows:

1; the west half of Lot 8, Block 1; Lots 2, 3 , 4, and 5,

The Public Works Committee t its meeting of May 11, 1988 took the
following action:
1. 5/24/88 VACATION: Pet tion of Miller and Holmes, Inc. for the
vacation of pa t of the alley in Block 59, Arlington Hills
Addition. Pu pose is to expand their present facilities
(bounded by Re ney, Wei_de, Minrrehaha and Arcade Street) .

Recommended ap roval on 3-0 vote.
2. S/24/88 FINAL ORDER: mproving the alley in Block 33, St. Anthony
Park by gradin and paving from the North line of Lot 8 in
said I31ock 33 to the North line of Lot 12 in said Block
33. Also c ndemning and taking an easement in the land
_. necessary for the slopes in the grading and paving of said
alley (bound d by Everett Court, Energy Park Drive,
Tainter Stree and Marsh Court) .
Laid over in ommittee to 5-25-88.
3. 5/17/88 FINAL ORDER: Improving MARYLAND AVENUE by overlaying that
portion from Western Avenue to Abell Street; milling,
leveling and verlaying that portion from Abell Street to
Interstate 5-E and constructing curb and gutter and
sidewalk in the easterly 1,200 feet of the project; and
constructing a street lighting system from Western Avenue
to Interstat 35-E; and repair Westbound Bridge No. 62526
(located 600 feet east of Jackson) .
Recommended pproval on 3-0 vote.
4. 5/17/88 FINAL ORDER: Improving LEXINGTON PARKWAY from Jessamine
Avenue to ontana Avenue by constructing concrete curb,
grading and paving or overlaying with bituminous material,
reconstruct'ng a drainage system, constructing a signal
system and a street lighting system, repairing existing
; bridge and oing all other work necessary to complete said
improvement .
Recommended approval on 3-0 vote.

5. 5/17/88 FINAL ORDER: I roving WINTHROP STREET from Lower Afton
Road to approxi ately 250 feet south to the cul-de-sac by
grading, paving, constructing concrete curb and gutter;
constructing sto m water drainage facilities; constructing
a sanitary sewe in Winthrop Street from Lower Afton Road
to cul-de-sac, onstructing sewer service connections and
constructing a ater main in Winthrop Street from Lower
Afton Road to s uth to cul-de-sac. Also, constructing
water service co nections.
Recommended appr val on 3-0 vote.
6. . ORDINANCE: repealing C.F. 280088 adopted April 14, 1983
and settling cl ims pertaining to litigation involving the
