99-185ORIGINAL RESOLUTION CITY �AINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented by Referred Council File # �q - t8s , Green Sheet # �li�9�8 Committee Date 1 1 WHEREAS, on November 16,1998 the St. Anthony Park Community Council submitted to the Saint Paul City 2 Council a proposal for a Special Sib District under the provisions of Section 66.216 of the Saint Paul 3 Legislative Code; and 4 WHEREAS, on January 6, 1999 the Saint Paul City Council forwarded the proposal to the Planning 5 Commission for its recommendation; and 6 WHEREAS, the Zoning Committee of the Plamzing Commission held a public hearing on February 4, 1999 7 after posting the required notice in the St. Paui Pioneer Press; and 8 WHEREAS, on February 24,1999 the Saint Paul Planning Commission submitted its recommendation to the 9 Saint Paul City Council; and 10 WHfiREAS, Section 66.216 requires that the City Council also hold a public hearing prior to granting approval 11 of the application for a special sign district; now, therefore, be it 12 RESOLVED, that the City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposal by the St. Anthony Park 13 Community Council for a Special Sign District on Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at 530 pm. in the City Council 14 Chasnbers.
