WHEREAS , the City of Saint Paul , acting through its
Valuation Engineer , has secured an agreement for the purchase of
that certain proper y described as follows:
Lot 20 , Stenlund ' s Subdivision
WHEREAS , the roperty herein described is necessary for
public purposes in the ETNA/East Third Street area in connection
with the BELT LINE EWER SYSTEM POND ACQUISITION PROJECT; and
WHEREAS, this roperty was approved for acquisition on July
14 , 1987 , by Final yder , Council File No. $7-1078; and
WHEREAS, the p ice at which the property may be purchased is
in the amount of $2 100 , it being a fair and reasonable price for
the subject property according to the appraisal obtained by the
Valuation Engineer ; and
WHEREAS, the V luation Engineer has recommended the purchase
of said property at the price stated above:
NOW THEREFORE E IT RESOLVED, that the proper Cit� officials
are hereby authoriz d and directed to pay Velma Struble , survivor
of Ernest C . Stru le , record owner , the sum of $2 , 100 . The
conditions of said sale contained in the Memorandum for Sale of
Real Estate ; said memorandum is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by referenc . Said sum to be charged to Funding Source
205-12160-0535 .
