WHEREAS, Eileen Weida spent th majority of her adult life in the
East Side neighborhood known as Railroad Island; and
WHEREAS, Eileen Weida has made significant contributions, countless
hours and untold efforts on behalf of he neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Eileen Weida's commit ent to her neighborhood exemplified
the community ideals of self determinati n; and
WHEREAS, Eileen Weida worked a tively to develop and promote the
Lafayette Center from its beginning; and
WHEREAS, Eileen Weida was inst umental in forming the Lafayette Booster
Club and was the prime mover in Booster lub fund raisers and programs; and
WHEREAS, Eileen Weida wished�t have the Lafayette Center made into a
Neighborhood Passive Park area to includ childrens play area, hard surface
areas, picnic tables and landscape plant' gs; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul ity Council by unanimous approval change
