VJHEREAS, the Mayor, to cany out the City's responsibilities in an efficient manner, has
deemed it necessary to retain Craig Ayers as a labor relations consultant to assist in the collective
bargaining process for the 2000-2001 agreement with the Saint Paul Police Federation, and
WI�EREAS, Craig Ayers is already under contract with the City of Saint Paul to provide
general labor relations consulting services,
NOW THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
approves the selection of Craig Ayers as a labor relations consultant to assist in the collective
bargaining process for the 2000-2001 agreement with the Saint Paul Police Federation; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, the compensation shall be in accordance with the CONTRACT
FOR LABOR CONSLTLTING SERVICES between Craig Ayers and the City of Saint Paul; and
FINALLY RESOLVED, payments to Craig Ayers shall be made from accowrt number
