Ilarris has served as Saint Paul City Councilmember for Wazd 3 since 1994; and, 2 WIIEREAS, Mike Harris has utilized his experience in business as well as his common sense approach to help maintain the delivery of high 3 quality city services without raising the tax levy; and, 4 WI-IEREAS, Mike Harris has become Imown among his colleagues as fair, independent and objective and someone who asks the tough 5 questions; and, 6 WHEREAS, in his tenure as Councilmemher, Mike Harris has demonstratively proven himself to be an ardent supporter of public pazks, 7 libraries, and has strived to ensure that Saint Paul remains a competitive place to do business; and, 8 WIIEREAS, Mike Harris is leauing the Council and looking forward to gettuig back to the venture capital and father business full-time; now, 9 Tf�REFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Saint Paul City Council does hereby recognize Councilmember Michael J.
