1 WHEREAS, the Council has received a petition from Commonwealth Properties, Inc. for specially
2 assessing costs for a fire protection system for 340 Cedar Street (St. Paul Athletic Club - 14th Floor);

5 WHEREAS, said petition meets the requirements of Minnesota Statutes 429 and the City policy on
6 assessing costs for fire protection systems; and

8 WHEREAS, the Council has fully considered and reviewed the petition and policy; now, therefore, be it

10 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize the above described
11 improvement be made, and the proper City officials are hereby directed to proceed with the
12 improvement; and be it
13
14 FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of said improvement, the proper City officials shali
IS calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with
16 Chapter 429 of the Minnesota Statutes and the fire protection system policy; and be it
17
18 FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor
19 and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that the Capital Improvement
20 Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council is hereby further amended in the following
