WHEREAS , in an attempt o streamline its procedures at City
Council meetings , the Counc 1 has experimented with a consent
agenda for two months ; and
WHEREAS , such experiment has proved to have positive results ;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Rule 10 of the Council Rules of Procedure,
Chapter A-1 to the Administ ative Code, be and the same hereby
is repealed and substituted in lieu and in place thereof a new
Rule 10 which shall read as f llows:
"Rule 10. Order of Busi ess.
The order of business sh 11 be as follows:
(a) Roll call ;
(b) Consent agenda;
(c) Approval of the jou nal if not on the consent agenda;
(d) Official communicat ons from the mayor ;
(e) Applications and co unications if not on the consent
agenda;
(f) New business - reso utions if not on the consent agenda;
(g) Ordinance readings ;
(h) Committee reports ;
(i ) Public hearings ;
(j ) Miscellaneous ;
(k) Rdjournment.
