Claimant, Candace Bauer, seeks reimb rsement for damage to her 1989 Hyundai
Excel , which occurred on or about Au ust 21 , 1989 , when concrete overspray
from a City of 5aint Paul bridge rep ir project settled on the car while it
was parked beneath the Robert Street Bridge. The corrosive nature of the
cement caused damage to the paint an it was necessary for Ms . Bauer to have
her car repainted. This office appr ves the settlement of Ms . Bauer ' s claim
in the amount of $1 , 031 . 60 .
