On March 11 , 1989 , a Saint Paul police vheicle driven by Officer George
Meyer struck a vehicle owned by Genera Security Services and driven by
their representative, Thomas Strauss . Officer Meyer, who was enroute to an
emergency call , entered the intersecti n of John Ireland Blvd . and Concordya
on a red light and was struck by Strau s ' vehicle which had entered the inter
section on the green light . As a resu t of the impact , General Security
Services ' vehicle was damaged in the a ount of $6 , 630 .63 . We have settled
with the owner ' s insurance company, Am rican Family, for 50% of their damages
