WHEREAS , on May 18 , 1989 by Council Resolution No. 89-894 ,
the City of Saint Paul asse sed property located at 549 Stryker
Avenue Saint Paul, Minnesota PIN 07-28-22-14-0073 for a summary
abatement assessment ( snow emoval ) , in the amount of $ 184 . 50 ,
property legally described as :
West Saint Paul Blo ks 100 thru 171 ; South 32 feet
of the East 100 fee of Lot 9 , Block 100 and
WHEREAS , at propert owner ' s request , in September , 1989 ,
the Division of Public Hea th of the Department of Community
Services determined the summa y abatement upon which the assessment
was based, used 175 foot fro tage instead of the owners 32 feet of
frontage.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the summary abatement
assessment in the amount of 184. 50 be reduced from $184. 50 to
$41 . 50 for PIN 07-28-22-14-0073 based on the correct front feet
of the property.

SUBJECT: Snow Removal Asses ment Charge for 549 Stryker
Please be advised that our o fice was contacted by the Saint Paul
DIvision of Parks and Recrea ion and that an improper measurement
was used to determine the co t of snow abatement work done at the
above address on February 23 1989. The correct cost should have
been $32.00 as opposed to th $175.00 ratified by the Saint Paul
City Council.
Your effort to correct this iscrepancy would be appreciated.

City Council approved summary Abatement r snow removal at 549 Stryker Avenue in May, 1989,
as recommedned by the Division of Publi,c alth, Department of Community Services. At
owners request, Public Health reexamined eir files and found that the assessment was
based on 175 feet of frontage instead of 2 feet. They recommend the assessment be reduced
from $184.50 to $41.50. (Schedule A and )
