WHEREAS, Football is one of America's favorite past-times
and an All-American sport, and
WHEREAS, Athleti s encourage a spirit of cooperation,
competition and team play, and
WHEREAS, The Joh son High School Football Team, with the
instruction of coaches and athleti director, and the support of the
principal , faculty, cheerleaders a d students, recently achieved distinction
as the City Conference Champions,
NOW, THEREFORE B IT RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul
hereby awards praise and honor to ach and every member of the team, and be it
further
RESOLVED, That t e St. Paul City Council extends its
heartfelt thanks to the team for t eir St. Paul spirit and wishes them the
best of luck in the State playoffs for the State Championship.
