RESOLVED, that the rate of pay for the title of Health and Fitness
Specialist be set at the rate s t forth in Grade 8, Section ID3, of the
Professional Employees Non-Supe visory Standard Ranges in the Salary
Plan and Rates of Compensation;' and be it

Disadvantages if Approved:
This is a regular single-incumbent po ition. The salary proposed for this
title is $986.83 biweekly, using 1989 rates, or an annual salary of
approximately $25,658, plus benefits � t $5,587 (21.777� of salary) , for a
total annual salary-plus-benefits cos of approximately $31,245.
This position currently is paid at th rate of $14.00 per hour, or
$29,120 (40 hours per week x 14.00 pe hour x 52 weeks) annually, and
receives no benefits. Therefore, the total annual cost to the City will be
approximately $2,125.00 (31,245 propa ed salary plus benefits minus 29,120
current salary) , using 1989 rates.
