Based on the findings that residents of the City will benefit fro such a system, the City will then implement an organized syst ; and, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that f r the purpose of carrying out the above intent the Departmen of Public Works is authorized to implement the following seque ce of events : 1 . Begin the required minimum 90-day study by identifying system options to be co sidered, including but not limited: a. Maintaining the status uo ; b. Implementing mandatory collection of mixed waste ; c . Modifications of the p esent open system; d. Implement license requ' rements for volume- based fees , separate y rd waste pickup, and mandatory recyclin ; e. Zoning system for same day collection; f. Organized collection b consortium; g. The resolution authorizes the Depa tment of Public Works to study the implementation of an integrated solid w ste management system, weighing benefits and detriments of all possible systems,i cluding but not limited to the following: a. Maintainin� the status quo b. Implementing mandatory ollection of mixed waste; c. Modifications of the prese t open system; d.
