WHEREAS, 1989 is the Year of he Child in Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Pa 1 recognizes that the children of
the City are its greatest res urce, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City ouncil wishes to help provide an
opportunity to salute the chi dren of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, a broad based group of community volunteers have worked
to coordinate a day of fun, ree or low cost activities for
Saint Paul children age 0 to 16 years and their families, and
WHEREAS, Saturday, October 1 , 1989 has been chosen as the day
that Saint Paul will celebra e its kids. �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV D, that the City of Saint Paul does
hereby proclaim, Saturday, O tober 14, 1989 as KIDSDAY ` 89.
