WHEREAS, Council File Number 86-1124 established residentia]. permit
parking adjacent to Saint Thomas ollege; and
GdHEREAS, The Public Works De artment has received va.lid petitions
requesting the removal of permit arking restrictions from streets within
permit area 5 and,
WHEREAS, The Public Works D partment has conducted a study of the
parking demand in the area surro nding Saint Thomas College and has determined
commuter parking has only limite impact on the pet"itioned area.
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RESOL ED, That the following revisions be made
in the residential permit parki.n area arouond Saint Thomas Co)_lege.
1 . Remove the residential ermit parking restrictions on:
Both sides of Wilder St. between Dayton Ave. and Se�.by Ave.
2. �emove the residential permit parking restrictions on:
Both sides of Moore St between Laurel Ave. and Selby Ave.

Public Works has received valid etitions from property owne�l on 6Vilder be-
tween Dayton and S��by and on Mo re between Laurel and Selby, requesting that
permit parking restrictions be' r moved from the petitioned area. The
petitions have surpassed the miin mum percentage of 60� approval .
*Due to the timing of the ann�al renewal program, a Traffic Coordinating Unit
(TCU) has been issued by the 'Tr ffic Engineer to remove permit parking on
the affected streets for 90 c�ay in order to process this Resolution. �

Residents would no longer be �teq ired to purchase permits to park on-street.

Non-resideats may legally park o -street, reducing the number of available
parking spaces for residents. '
