WHEREAS, The existing railroad cros ing of the Chicago and North Western Transportation
Company (CNW) and Ames Avenue in th vicinity of Flandrau Street is very poorly laid
out and needs to be rebuilt; and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul bel eves that the costs of this signal relocation
should be borne by the CNW; and
WHEREAS, The CNW believes that the osts of this signal relocation should be borne
by the City of Saint Paul ; now, the efore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of Saint P 1 petition the Minnesota Transportation Board
for a hearing to establish the app priate cost sharing for the signal relocation
which the CNW has estimated at $77 939.00.

2. 10/31/89 Ratification Approving Award of Damages: Approved 3-0
Condemning and taking a permanent utility
easement for the ARCADE/MINNEHAHA AREA
SEWER SEPARATION PROJECT.
3. 10/24/89 Final Order: For constructing the Approved 3-0
JESSAMINE/FRANK AREA STORM SEWER PROJECT.
(Bounded by Maryland on the north, York on
the south, Cypress on the west, and
Barclay on the east) .
4. 10/24/89 Final Order: For improving the following Approved 3-0
streets with a bituminous roadway,
concrete curb and gutters, outwalks,
driveway aprons, boulevards will be
reconstructed and sodded and a lantern
style street lighting system will be
installed: Parts of Geranium, Jessamine,
Magnolia, Cook, Jenks, Frank, Duluth,
Atlantic, Magnolia Lane, Lane Place and
Burnquist. To be known as the
JESSAMINE/FRANK AREA STREET PAYING AND
LIGHTING PROJECT. Also, storm, sanitary
and water connections, if requested by the
property owners, will be constructed.
