The Planning Commission has propose heliport zoning code amendments and heliport land use plan amendments. The purpose of the land use plan amendments is to make the zoning co e and land use plan consistent with one another for heliports. (The Commis ion's Land Use Plan amendments are also attached.) The zoning code heliport amendments have been introduced to the City Council and will have a public hearing on A gust 31. This resolution will allow the heliport land use plan amendments t be considered by the City Council at the August 31 hearing. Policy (4.6-12) The City will a low private helistops at hospitals in order to allow emergency medical ervices. Policy (4.6-13) Private helipor and helistops will not be allowed in the City except as allowed in pol cies (4.6-11 and 4.6-12) .
