WHEREAS , the City of S int Paul, acting through its
Valuation Engineer, has secu ed an agreement for the purchase of
that certain property descri ed as follows :
Lots 13 through 1 , tenlund' s Subdivision
WHEREAS, the property h re ' n described is necessary for
public purposea in the Etna/ a t Third Street area in connection
with the BELT LINE SEWER SYS E POND ACQUISITION PROJECT ; and
WHEREAS, this property a approved for acquisition on July
14, 1987, by Final Order, Co n il File #87-1078; and
WHEREAS , the price at w i h the property may be purchased is
in the amount of $20 , 160.00, i being a fair and reasonable price
for the subject property acc r ing to the appraisal obtained by
the Valuation Engineer; and
WHEREAS , the Valuation Eng neer has recommended the purchase
of said property at the pri e tated above;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RES LV D, that the proper City officials
are hereby authorized and d' re ted to pay Anthony J. and Ann M.
Reiter the sum of $20, 160 . aid sum to be charged to Funding

requires the acquisition of th se parcels for ponding purposes.
ADVANTAdEB IF APPROVED:
The acquisition, and the other w ich constitute the pond acquisition
project, will provide an area or storm water runoff drainage. This allows
for the most cost-efficient st rm sewer system.
DISADVANTAOES IF APPROVED:
The subject property would be u hased at a price of $20,160.00.

The Belt Line Storm Sewer Project a d signed would have to be altered
to accommodate the runoff damage in an ther manner. This would result
