WHEREAS , section 3 .02 o he Saint Paul Charter and section
2. 01 (b) of the Saint Paul d inistrative Code both direct the
Mayor to designate with the a vice and consent of the Council ,
an appointive officer or emp o e of the City to serve as Acting
Mayor in the absence of the M y r; and
WHEREAS , LeeAnn Turchin w o is the designated Acting Mayor,
will be on vacation from u ust 7 , 1989 through August 18 ,
1989 ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Edward W n, Chief Executive Officer of
the Mayor' s Office , be d si nated Acting Mayor temporarily
from August 7 , 1989 through A st 18 , 1989 in place of LeeAnn
Turchin.
