WHEREAS , on May 2 , 19 9 , thz Division of Public Health
for the City of Saint Pa 1 inspected the premises at 230-232-
234-236-238 and 240 Nort ale Street and determined that a
nuisance consisting of g rbage bags , discarded furniture ,
mattresses and used tires xi ted thereon; and
WHEREAS , the Division o May 3 , 1989 mailed written orders
to Laurel Ann March, Ahi a o Y. Akrong and Maeola McKinnies ,
known to be owners of some or all of the above described premises ,
advising them of the exac ature of the nuisance and directing
the cleanup of same by May 10 1989 ; and
WHEREAS , Laurel Ann r h on May 10, 1989 filed an appeal
of the written orders wi h the City Clerk and on May 30, 1989
�he City Council conducte public hearing on the appeal and
upon consideration af�irm d the written orders ; now, therefore ,
be it
RESOLVED, that the wr tt n orders of said Division directing
that the above described isance be cleaned up is affirmed
immediately upon publicati n f this resolution; and, be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that in the event the work is not completed
upon publication of this r solution, the City may proceed to
perform or complete the ec ssary work with the cos�s incurred
therefrom collected in the sa e manner as provided by law.

On May 12, 1989, as a result of a o laint, the Division of Public Health determined
there was a nuisance, consisting o g rbage and rubbish, at 230-240 North Dale Street
On May 30, 1989, at a public heari g, the City Council affirmed that decision.
ADVANTAOES IF APPROVED:
The Clty will remove the refuse an e iminate the nuisance if the owner fails to do so.
DISADVANTAOES IF I1�ROVED:
The City may incurr costs for the le n-up costs will be assessed against the taxes.
