The Council of the City of Saint Paul ha co ducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the C y arter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all perso s, o jections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, th ref re, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City f S int Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers are hereby irec ed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the c mpl tion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the sa e t the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

The Water Utility has received a petit on for the proposed improvement represen�-
ing 50 per cent of the assessable prop rt . Installation of the water main would
eliminate an existing dead end main. M st important, however, is that the main be
installed before the street is improve t is fall as part of the City's Residential
Street Paving Program. •

Elimination of the dead end main.
Coordination with paving removal .
A proposed development of seven single a 'ly homes will have access to City water
service.
