WHEREAS, The St. Paul Department of Fire an S fety Services desires to purchase smoke detectors
for installation in residences in St. Paul; an
WHEREAS, The Tobacco Institute's Fire Safet E ucation Program des�res to support the
installation of smoke detectors in St. Paul re idences with a $5,000.00 donation; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Dep rt ent of Fire and Safety Services is directed to
accept $5,000.00 from the Tobacco Institute d
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that th City Council thanks the Tobacco Institute for
it's donation to promote the safety of the it zens of St. Paul.
