WHEREAS, the Department of Fi e and Safety ervices, in
cooperation with The Saint P ul Companies, has provided the
Junior Fire Marshal program f r any years, and
WHEREAS, the Junior Fire M s al program is program to
teach fire safety and hom ire escape to fifth grade
students in public and priv te schools through ut the City
of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Co p ies provides rant funding
of the program to the Departm n of Fire and Saf ty Services,
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED that Fire M rshal Steven L Zaccard is
designated the solicitor of e Junior Fire arshal funds
granted by The Saint Paul Co a ies, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a budget shall be submitted to,
and approved by, the City C ncil for the e penditure of
the Junior Fire Marshal fund .
