WHEREAS, on January 12, 1988, the S in Paul City Council approved a procedure
for reallocation of Emergency Shelt r ant funds granted to the City by the
U.S. Department of Housing & Urban ev opment (HUD) (direct entitlement
funds) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorize u e of this same procedure to determine
which nonprofit organizations to re o nd for funding under the State of
Minnesota's Emergency Shelter Grant pr gram; and
WHEREAS, on April 4, 1989, a review of funding requests was conducted in
accordance with the approved proced re y the Emergency Shelter Grant Review
Team and the following recommendati n or funding were made:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that th City Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby accepts and approves these r co endations for exp�nditure of Emergency
Shelter Grant funds; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Cou ci authorizes the appropriate city staff
to enter into contracts with the ab ve organizations in accordance with state
& federal rules and city regulation ; nd be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City Cou ci adopts the following changes to the
