WHEREAS, on January 6, 1987 th St. Paul City Council established a Community Festival Lo n Fund and Grant Program, administered by the Division of Pa ks and Recreation, for the purpose of assisting neighbor oo festivals with expenses, startup costs and insurance coverag ; a d WHEREAS, the St. Paul City ou cil has approved rules and regulations to ensure the fair a d uitable distribution of the funds; and WHEREAS, N.E.A.R. has applied for a grant in accordance with these rules and regulations. NOW THEREFORE, the parties ag ee as follows: 1. That the City shall grant o .E.A.R. the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for the purpos o helping to fund the Sidewalk Extravaganza, to be held on August 5, 19 9 s more particularly outlined in N.E.A.R.
