WHEREAS, few Saint P ul residents reach the milestone of
100 years of age; and
WHEREAS, these centen ri ns have contributed to the growth
and development of the City of Saint Paul ; and
WHEREAS, each of the e individuals has a long life story
to be told and a di `rferent ea on for their longevity; and
WHEREAS , it is approp i te for the City of Saint Paul to
recognize centenarians an onor them for their achievement;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the E1 e Council consider establishing and
maintaining a program for t e City of Saint Paul to identify
those people who have rea he 100 years of age, coordinate an
appropriate celebration, p ep re a brief report on the life and
times of each centenarian nd notify appropriate media; and,
be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, tha e ch centenarian receive a proclama-
tion from the City of Sain ul and have the proclamation noted
on the City Council agenda.

or federal law or regulation and the employee informs the employer that the
